How should I care for my hair extensions?

Wait 48 hours after application before washing your hair.

Always use hair products free from sulfate, parabens, gluten and sodium chloride.

Aloxxi, OGX and Pravana are all excellent choices.

Conditioner should only be applied from the mid shaft to the ends, this prevents the bonds from slipping. Always rinse with cold water. Always use UV and heat protection before styling. A deep conditioning hair mask should be used every 4 weeks.

Clients should also consider sleeping with a satin pillow case, satin hair scarf or a satin cap. This prevents the hair from breakage and friction. This is highly recommended.

Hair should be brushed or combed a minimum of 3 times per day. you should separate the bonds with your fingers daily to prevent matting.

How to choose the right shade of hair extensions?

During your consultation your stylist will discuss colour options with you. She will match your colour with our colour ring sample.

You may also want to discuss adding another colour to add dimension.

Can I remove my hair extensions myself?

You should never remove your own hair extensions. This requires professional tools and removers. Removing your own hair extensions will cause damage to your natural hair as well as your hair extensions which may prevent you from being able to reuse them. This will end up costing you more money. It is recommended you call your stylist at your 8 week mark to discuss the condition and regrowth of your hair.
